Omega Building Solutions is a family-owned Sydney painting and remedial contractor. We repair the building first and paint it second, which is why our work still looks right three winters later.

We work on heritage terraces in the inner east, rendered unit blocks on the North Shore, childcare centres, retail fit-outs and commercial buildings across Greater Sydney. Some jobs are a single balcony soffit. Others are a full strata repaint over several stages. The same supervisor runs both.

Preparation
does the real work

Paint hides a defect for a season. It does not fix one. We pressure wash, cut out failed render, treat concrete cancer, make good the substrate and prime it properly before a single top coat goes on. It is the slowest part of the job and the reason the finish holds.

Most painters stop at the defect and hand you back to a builder. We carry both trades, so waterproofing, render repair, concrete works and the paint system are quoted together, sequenced together and warranted together. No gaps between contractors for a problem to fall into.

Questions we get asked

Do you take on small jobs, or only full repaints?
Both. A single room, a balcony repair or one unit in a block is a normal job for us, and it is quoted the same way as a full building. There is no minimum project size.
How long does a quote take?
Site inspections and quotes are free. For a house or a single unit, expect an itemised quote within about three business days. Strata and commercial scopes with defect reporting usually take five to seven.
What happens if it rains?
Exterior work stops when conditions are wrong for the coating, because applying it anyway is how a finish fails early. We build weather allowance into the program, keep you updated on revised dates, and switch to interior or preparation work where the site allows it.
Do you work with strata managers and owners corporations?
Regularly. We provide scope documents suitable for committee review, staged pricing and licence details up front, and can attend committee meetings or an AGM to walk through the scope before it goes to a vote.
What warranty do you provide?

Every job starts with a written contract that sets out the scope, price and warranty. Warranty periods run from 1 to 6 years, depending on the type of work.
